Payment options

A valid credit card is required in order to make a booking. Options for payment are:
e-transfer
Visa or MasterCard

Minimum stays (3 nights for all units): payment in full upon booking.

Longer stays: We require payment of 50% at time of booking and will process the balance 30 days before your first booked night. If we are unable to process the balance 30 days before your first booked night, it will result in forfeiture of the deposit and the dates booked.

Cleaning Fee:
Upper and Lower Nests:
A one-time $45 Housekeeping charge will be added to stays of 6 days or less; a one-time $65 Housekeeping charge will be added to stays of 7 days or more. This charge will be included in your booking payment.
Guest House: a one-time $100 Housekeeping charge will be added to stays of 7 days or less. This charge will be included in your booking payment.

To maintain your “vacation-state-of-mind”, we can (on request) book a Housekeeping service for you at any point during your stay. The fee for this is $45 to $65 per service for the Nests, $100 for the Guest House, and can be added to your bill upon payment processing, or can be paid for by cash when requested.

Cancellations or Changes to Bookings 

Speak to your travel agent or credit card company about trip delay and cancellation insurance prior to your trip.

  1. If you cancel your booking within 30 days of your first night booked, we are unable to offer any refunds.

  2. If you cancel or make any changes to your booking more than 30 days in advance of your first night, a $25 administration fee plus all credit card processing fees will be deducted from the total refund.

  3. No refunds will be given for early departures or no-shows.

  4. Please understand Shorelark by the Sea is not responsible for any cancelled, delayed or missed flights or ferries, etc., and cannot offer refunds if your travel plans are, for any reason, interrupted. Talk to your ticket agent or credit card company about trip insurance when making plans.

Upon booking you will receive your “Nesting Notes” or “Guesting Notes” with your e-mailed receipt.

ShoreLark by the Sea Vacation Rentals reserves the right to refuse requests for accommodation.

ShoreLark by the Sea Vacation Rentals does not rent to persons under 25 years of age.

ShoreLark by the Sea Upper Nest and Lower Nest are each strictly 2 person vacation rentals (2 people sharing one bed), with parking for one vehicle for each unit. No additional overnight guests are permitted.

ShoreLark by the Sea Guest House is a 2 bedroom vacation rental, (4 people sharing 2 beds), and parking for one vehicle. No additional overnight guests are permitted. 

Due to the size of the units and, most importantly, in consideration of other guests (and neighbours) there are to be no parties on any of the premises. This will ensure a peaceful, enjoyable stay for everyone!

We take great pride in and make every effort to make sure that your unit is in pristine condition upon check in. Please let us know if this is not the case!

No Smoking! If smoking has taken place indoors an additional cleaning fee of $250 will be levied.

No Pets.

If anything is accidentally broken or damaged please make us aware of it before you check out, so that the next guests have everything they need.

Inventory is taken after guests depart. Missing items and any undisclosed damage will be charged to client credit card. Proprietor will assess damage and make guest aware that a charge will be applied.

Guests are provided with supplies to maintain units in clean and tidy condition and are asked to leave the units in a tidy condition (except for used towels and sheets).

To ensure a comfortable and easy start to your vacation, ShoreLark provides much of what you need to get started, including complimentary coffee/tea/sugar/basic spices as well as linens, toilet paper, and laundry soap. Guests will need to provide anything over and above what has already been supplied (e.g. additional toilet paper, paper towels, soap etc.).

 

Any Rogers On Demand movie purchases must be paid for by cash upon Check Out to avoid extra service charge associated with credit card payment of movies accessed.

ShoreLark by the Sea Vacation Rentals does not offer pick up and drop off services of guests or backpacks/luggage.

*** Booking a reservation with ShoreLark by the Sea is considered an agreement by all guests to all terms and conditions.***
